For nearly two decades, Migrant-Rights.org has worked to make visible the lives and struggles of the millions of migrant workers in the GCC and wider region. What began as a small platform has grown into a recognised source for research, policy analysis, and advocacy grounded in the lived realities of migrants.
Today, we begin a fresh chapter as a new and independent organisation: MRRORS — Migrant Rights Research Open Repository.
This transition is a testimony to how our work has evolved, and recognises the need to adapt to an increasingly complex civil society and advocacy environment globally. The new name MRRORS captures this spirit of reflection, creating a space for learning, accountability and change.
We carry forward the same commitment that has shaped our work from the start: to centre migrant voices, ground our work in evidence, and contribute meaningfully to rights-based policy, practice, and collective learning.
As we make this transition, you may still see our former name across parts of the site and our materials. Please bear with us as we complete the changeover in the coming weeks.
We hope you’ll stay engaged with our efforts to strengthen accountability and advance justice for migrant workers in the GCC and beyond.
