At the very first day of Ramadan (August the first) a horrific crime took place in three different areas in Kuwait (Saad alabdullah, Kabd, and the desert part of Jahra) when a Kuwaiti officer used his shotgun to kill four Indian men, while one Ethiopian woman was able to escape death, as reported by Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Qabas - Opens in new tab. The officer was caught in Shuwaikh after a short time from the crime and he confessed killing the four victims saying that two of them were eating in Ramadan (which is an illegal act in Kuwait). When checking his file, police found out that this officer has a history of psychological problems and has been on a sick leave in the past two years. The case is awaiting the court’s decision soon.
