The Philipino Star reported - Opens in new tab today that a Filipino janitor has been detained in Hafer Al Baten Central Jail in Saudi Arabia for the last month for having an illicit relationship with a Bangladeshi co-worker. According to the 35-year-old woman, however, she did not have a relationship with the Bangladeshi man, as their employer claims, but was raped by him. As of yet, no assistance was offered to the woman by the Filipino consulate in Saudi Arabia.
